INTERESTS:
One of my main passions is learning about all traditional textile techniques and heritage craft. I love experimenting but my main favourites are embroidery, natural dyeing and hand-spinning local wool. I also grow my own dye and fibre plants and have been learning as I go with all sorts of gardening, I find it a greatly rewarding experience to learn all about plants and grow your own.
I also have an interest in history, folklore, and foraging. I also took up mudlarking during lockdown, I love seeing what we can learn from objects thrown away by the people of the past and how things were made. Within the past few years walking has been one of my major past times. Exploring the natural environment, learning about the history of the land we walk on, and seeing layers of history are so exciting to me!
