Bespoke Hand Embroidered Map (20x20)

These pieces are perfect gifts for someone with a special place close to their heart.
As well as local areas, these are ideal for areas not in the UK as I will not need to replicate out of copyright ordnance survey maps for them like my printed maps. These are totally customisable and some things to add could be place names, markers, more detail in a certain area or footpaths you or you loved ones like to walk regularly.
The £200 covers all the main roads, railways, rivers, and green spaces. For additional costs contour lines can be added as well as other details mentioned above. This map will be approximately 20x20cm and the frame is 33.8x33.8cm.
Black silk details can include earthworks, churches, SSSI, historical sites, train stations, place names, boundaries or your own house.
When ordered I will contact you with the map image to go over the scale and position of your area to make sure it is correct. Lead time for a map of this size is 3 -6 months depending on how much detail is requested.

Please note that postage (tracked and signed for next day delivery) for this size map is £20 This will be paid for later after the order has been discussed in a separate listing. Free collection from Nottingham can also be arranged as an alternative.
Please allow up to 6 months from the point of confirmation for your bespoke map. This timescale is depending on the time of year and in relation to other ongoing work. It is only me making these and I don't do it full time! Thanks for understanding :-)
